The buzz around CM Punk is at an all-time high as WWE's premier Thanksgiving tradition is set to take place in Chicago. The Survivor Series is one of the brand's top shows that has been a part of its legacy. Instead of the traditional brand warfare, Triple H took the unique approach to implement the War Games match. What's more exciting is that CM Punk could make a WWE comeback, but the rumors have made the situation murky. Amid the buzz, a WWE Hall of Famer has offered an insight into Punk's return.

WWE Hall of Famer opens up on CM Punk's comeback rumours

CM Punk has been highly touted as a favorite to make his return to the WWE at the Survivor Series at the Allstate Arena. Amid the disruptive rumors that have kept the suspense over Punk's return, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T shares his thoughts on the situation 

While speaking in his 'Hall of Fame' Podcast, Booker said that WWE's desire to bring back the Ultimate Warrior demonstrates the ability to work with talent with a troubled past. He mentioned: 

I’m not gonna put it past WWE to hire him back. I do know that just about everyone who left WWE has come back — no matter what problems they’ve had. Even the Ultimate Warrior — I don’t think anyone thought he would come back.

The Ultimate Warrior developed some issues with the WWE in the 90s and departed from the wrestling promotion. But his return in 2014 and the induction to the Hall of Fame shocked everyone. Warrior made his surprising return before his sudden passing later in the year. But just the Warrior, but WWE reconciled with wrestlers like Bret Hart, Jeff Jarrett, and more.

Men's War Games match announced for Survivor Series

WWE has started the build-up for Survivor Series as the event is not far away. The promotion stuck to the War Games approach that turned a lot of heads last year and was a smashing success. 

This year's match will take place between Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Jey Uso against the Judgement Day's Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh. Adam Pearce announced after their brawl in WWE Raw.
