Vince McMahon did not voluntarily step away from WWE: How Triple H gained creative control post-TKO?
One of the managerial improvements made by the TKO Group was to put Triple H in charge of WWE's creative on a solo basis, which has improved the product.
The past few weeks have been intense for WWE as they had an extensive ownership change. The Multi-billion-dollar wrestling promotion is now a part of the Endeavor group after the mega-merger with UFC top form the TKO Group. With Vince McMahon no longer in sole power, things were bound to change on how the new authority would do business. They have made some managerial changes that have had some improvement in the product, and one of them was to solely have Triple H in charge of creative.

Major changes in WWE took place after the TKO takeover
With the merger in full swing, it was obvious that there would be some positional changes in the regime to make the product run efficiently. One of the updates involved Triple H and the company's former boss, Vince McMahon, who looked after the creative aspects of WWE. But as per reports, Endevaour CEO Ari Emmanuel made some changes. He took out Vinny Mac from the equation to give HHH the sole authority over the brand's creative control.

While Triple H was the Chief Content Officer and was responsible for making the bookings, Vince McMahon also had a say on what would be aired on the television & streaming platforms. But that was changed when TKO took over.
Why Endeavor CEO took out McMahon from creative?
The drama surrounding Vince McMahon remains at an all-time high in the pro wrestling and sports entertainment circuit. The former chairperson has been a disputable figure as he has had a scandalous past. But that did not halt him from making a billion-dollar empire with the WWE. But after the takeover, Endevaour CEO Ari Emmanuel made a surprising decision to pull out Vince McMahon from creative power, and there could be a couple of reasons behind his move.
McMahon led the Ruthless Aggression and Attitude era seamlessly, but he also had a wacky side in his creative compositions. However, reports have stated that Ari Emmanuel wants all members to have a definite role. Since Vince is an executive CEO, Emmanuel wants him to focus on the media rights negotiations.
