Sam Altman, former CEO of OpenAI, took to Twitter, saying that he and Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, are prioritising the continuity of operations to ensure OpenAI thrives. The existing partnership with Microsoft is seen as a key facilitator in achieving this goal.

In his other tweet, Altman expressed confidence in the unity, commitment, and focus within OpenAI, asserting that the team is more cohesive than ever before. He expressed excitement about the collaborative efforts ahead, underlining a collective mission and teamwork.

Acknowledging the leadership team's crucial role during this transition, Altman specifically commended Mira, Brad, and Jason, expressing pride in their exceptional leadership during challenging times. 

In response to the recent changes, Ilya Sutskever, who faced criticism in connection to Altman's departure, expressed regret for his involvement in the board's decisions. Ilya Sutskever said, “I deeply regret my participation in the board's actions. I never intended to harm OpenAI. I love everything we've built together and I will do everything I can to reunite the company.”

Elon Musk joined the conversation, seeking clarification on the drastic actions taken. Musk called for transparency in OpenAI’s actions, suggesting that if OpenAI is engaged in activities with potential risks to humanity, the world should be informed.
