Moto E6 Play entry-level phone launched with 3,000mAh battery 

The Moto E6 Play is a toned-down Moto E6 Plus. Note that Motorola has already launched the Moto E6 Plus as the Moto E6s in India.

Lenovo owned Motorola Mobility has launched the entry-level Moto E6 Play alongside the Moto G8 Plus in Brazil. The Moto E6 Play is a toned-down Moto E6 Plus. Note that Motorola has already launched the Moto E6 Plus as the Moto E6s in India. The Moto E6 Play has been launched at a price of Euros 109 which roughly translates to Rs 8,500. 

Moto E6 Play specs and features

Speaking of specs, the Moto E6 Play comes with a 5.5-inch 720p+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage which is also expandable. The dual SIM phone runs near stock Android 9 Pie software out-of-the-box. The Moto E6 Play is further backed by a 3,000mAh battery and supports microUSB charging. On to the cameras, the Moto E6 Play comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Moto E6 Play will be available in ocean blue and black colours. This one comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. 

For some perspective, the Moto E6s comes with a 6.1-inch 720p+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB storage which is also expandable. The dual SIM phone runs Android 9 Pie software and packs a 3,000mAh battery with micro-USB charging. The Moto E6s further come with a dual rear camera system consisting of a 13MP main camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, the Moto E6s comes with an 8MP camera. The Moto E6s sells in India for Rs 7,999. 

The Moto G8 Plus launched alongside the Moto E6 Play arrives in India in line with global markets. The Moto G8 Plus has been launched in India at a competitive price of Rs 13,999 for the sole variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There’s no word if and when Motorola will launch the Moto E6 Play in India.
