Video: 9-Year-Old Amaiyra Dies by Suicide, Parents Tell Her Story
Nine-year-old Amaiyra tragically died after jumping from the fourth floor of a private school in Jaipur, where she was a Class 4 student. Her parents have now shared their heartbreaking account, stating that Amaiyra had been subjected to constant bullying by classmates for over a year. They say repeated complaints by both the child and the family to teachers and school authorities were ignored.
CCTV footage shows Amaiyra climbing onto the railing moments before the incident. Her parents are demanding answers, alleging that the school failed to act on clear warnings and played a role through negligence.
Amaiyra’s mother had even sent the class teacher a WhatsApp voice note in which the child begged not to be sent to school due to bullying, but no action followed. The family also claims the school attempted to hide evidence by cleaning the spot where Amaiyra fell before police arrived.
The case has triggered widespread outrage, with demands for a full investigation and accountability from the school. Amaiyra’s story highlights the urgent need for stronger anti-bullying policies and safety measures in educational institutions.
