Arnab Goswami Calls For An End Of Free Run for Goons As Suvendu Adhikari’s Right-hand Man Is Shot Dead In Cold Blood

Suvendu Adhikari's personal assistant (PA) was shot dead in Madhyamgram, two days after the party's historic victory in the assembly election. Chandranath Rath, the BJP leader's personal assistant, was wounded by three of the four bullets fired at him while in a moving automobile. The suspects pursued his vehicle and opened fire when it paused.

The BJP claimed that the TMC's "so-called gunda vahini" was responsible for this horrible murder, among others, to mislead the people and cause chaos.

The BJP warned that such activities would not be tolerated and that anyone found to have been involved in the planning and execution of Chandranath's murder would face severe legal consequences once the inquiry was completed.
