Arnab Goswami's Unsparing Take on CBSE's OSM Mess Playing With Students' Future

Following the disastrous failure of the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) new On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation system, Arnab Goswami launched an unrelenting, brutal prime-time media attack against the CBSE administration. Leading a heated national discussion, Goswami revealed how millions of Class 12 and Class 10 students' academic futures and mental health are in grave danger due to a malfunctioning digital assessment pipeline, widespread website vulnerabilities, answer-sheet mismatches, and blurred page downloads. He vehemently maintained that students have been effectively undermined throughout the crucial college admissions season by the board's egregious technical carelessness and serious assessment disparities.

Arnab claimed that experimenting with unproven digital marking infrastructure without doing thorough pilot testing is an unacceptable risk to the country's children. In order to examine the whole digital assessment framework, correct the impacted kids' scorecards, and bring back complete transparency to India's secondary school grading systems, he called for the creation of an extensive independent investigation panel.
