BREAKING: CCTV Footage Shows Actor's Car Hitting Biker, Fleeing Scene In Thiruvananthapuram

Malayalam actor Maniyanpilla Raju was taken into custody over a hit-and-run incident in Thiruvananthapuram. The crash occurred late Thursday near Trivandrum Club in Vazhuthacaud, leaving two 20-year-old men—Suraj and Nivedith Krishna—with critical injuries after their Royal Enfield motorcycle collided with his car around 9:30 pm on February 5.

Police reported that Raju turned himself in at the Museum Police Station. In his statement, he admitted to driving but insisted the motorcycle struck his vehicle first, pointing to CCTV evidence, and explained fleeing the scene due to panic. The actor, who revealed his ongoing cancer treatment, said he promptly called authorities post-accident and promised to report the next day. He now faces arrest, with medical checks in progress.
