Pakistan & Democracy Don't Go Hand-in-Hand: India Calls Out US Funding Pak In Garb Of Mining

During a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs South and Central Asia Subcommittee titled “The U.S.–India Strategic Partnership: Securing a Free and Open Indo-Pacific,” Dhruva Jaishankar, Executive Director of ORF America, raised concerns that India–US relations are strained by Washington’s renewed outreach to Pakistan’s military establishment.

Earlier, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal had also remarked that Pakistan has no real concept of democracy, while questioning US funding directed to Islamabad under the pretext of mining projects. Watch the full video for more.
