Red Fort Car Blast: Delhi Police Commissioner Says Car Exploded At Red Light

A powerful explosion near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi has left eight people confirmed dead and several others injured. The blast occurred around 6:52 when a slow-moving vehicle stopped at a red light and exploded, damaging nearby vehicles, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha informed. The Delhi Fire Department received an emergency call shortly after the incident and immediately sent seven fire tenders and fifteen CAT ambulances to the scene. Firefighters were able to control the blaze quickly.
