Video: Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag Faces Deadly Cloudburst, Several Trapped In Debris

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reported that multiple families remain stranded after two separate cloudbursts struck Uttarakhand’s Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts. The incidents occurred in Bareth Dungar Tok (Rudraprayag) and Deval (Chamoli). In Rudraprayag, heavy rainfall raised the water levels of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, halting vehicle movement. Photos released by police show an SUV stuck in debris, blocked roads, and dangerously swollen rivers.
