Iran-US-Israel War: Donald Trump's Speech On Middle-East Tensions | Iran War

President Donald Trump boasted about his administration’s achievements while delivering several striking foreign policy statements. He expressed a desire to “build a new country,” claimed he had a “good talk” with Vladimir Putin, alleged he had a “target on his back,” and insisted Iran would have attacked first had he not acted decisively. Trump voiced disappointment with Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, suggesting he was not well-informed about the situation, and jokingly remarked it was “more fun to sink Iranian ships.” He also announced plans to waive oil-related sanctions and proudly highlighted lower oil prices, seemingly unaware or unconcerned that his ongoing war has severely disrupted global oil trade routes.

The speech underscored Trump’s continued aggressive posture toward Iran, framing his actions as necessary to prevent nuclear proliferation and regional instability. He reiterated that the US has “many options” and would not hesitate to use military force if diplomacy failed, while downplaying the consequences of his policies on energy markets and international stability.
Trump’s casual reference to sinking Iranian ships and his confidence in oil price drops stood in sharp contrast to expert warnings of supply shocks and higher long-term costs caused by the conflict.
