Amit Shah: Abrogation of Article 370 Crippled Terror Network in Jammu & Kashmir

Union Home Minister Amit Shah told Parliament that removing Article 370 in 2019 weakened Jammu & Kashmir’s terror ecosystem. He said terror incidents fell from 7,200 (2004–14) to 1,525 (2015–25). Shah credited the move for curbing infiltration, reducing youth recruitment into militancy, and advancing development through integration and central laws under Modi’s zero-tolerance policy.
