Pakistani fan lauds Chennai crowd despite the loss against South Africa

After the crushing loss against South Africa, many Pakistani fans were left shocked. One Pakistani fan however lauded the Chennai crowd and the passion they displayed during the game despite the home team not playing. South Africa almost threw a winning match away but held their nerves till the end as Pakistan’s night ended in heartbreak as they fell to the Proteas by 1 wicket. Aiden Markram starred with 91 while Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up 3. In the first innings, South Africa spinner Tabraiz Shamsi took 4 wickets while Saud Shakeel and Shadab Khan played a crucial partnership to help Pakistan post 270 against the Proteas on Friday. In reply South Africa scored the 271 runs after losing 9 wickets and inside 48 overs.
