Bengaluru Woman Claims Blinkit Delivery Agent ‘Barged’ Into Her House, Asks Deepinder Goyal for Action
A Bengaluru woman alleged that she was threatened by a Blinkit delivery executive who entered her home after flagging an undelivered order.
Bengaluru: A woman from Bengaluru took to LinkedIn to share a harrowing experience she faced while receiving a Blinkit order.
The woman, Pocket FM executive Surya PM, alleged that she was threatened by a delivery executive after flagging an undelivered order.
In a detailed post, she recounted that her order was marked as ‘delivered’ despite not receiving the products. She tagged Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa and Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, demanding action. However, after flagging the issue with customer support, she was able to resolve it.
“Earlier today, I placed an order with Blinkit, and the status showed as ‘Delivered,’ even though I had not received the product. After reaching out to your customer support, I was able to resolve this issue,” her post read.
However, what happened next raised serious concerns about customer safety. The woman claimed that the delivery agent, along with another man who was not wearing Blinkit attire, barged through her house gate and stood outside her door, threatening her.
“I was then threatened by these individuals, which left me feeling unsafe and violated,” she added.
When she raised the concern on the app, she felt that the response did not acknowledge the severity of the situation.
“When I requested a call from your team to address this urgent matter, I was simply left with a message, which does not address the severity of the situation.” She also shared a screenshot of the conversation.
She urged Blinkit to take the matter seriously and conduct a thorough investigation, as she was deeply concerned for her safety.
“I am extremely concerned for my safety and expect an immediate response from Blinkit to investigate this situation. This behavior is completely unacceptable.”
Blinkit responded to her claim, assuring her that strict action would be taken.
“We understand your disappointment and truly apologize for any inconvenience caused. We have thoroughly investigated and addressed your concern, and all relevant information has been shared. We are happy to help with anything else you may need. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you require additional assistance,” the company stated.
However, the woman expressed disappointment with Blinkit’s lack of investigation and follow-up, despite providing clear video proof of the incident.
“It has been quite a while now, and there has been no resolution or any meaningful communication from your side,” she alleged.
Netizens reacted to her post demanding strict action also advised the woman to file a police complaint.
