Billionaire's ₹50,000 'Comfortable' High Heels Stir Controversy with Mixed Reactions Online

Billionaire entrepreneur Sara Blakely, renowned for revolutionising women's shapewear with her Spanx brand, is set to make another significant impact in the fashion industry. On August 20, Blakely will unveil Sneex, a groundbreaking footwear line that merges the elegance of high heels with the comfort of sneakers.

“Sneex are my love letter to every woman who has taken her shoes off at a party, who wears flats to work with heels in her bag, who thought her days of wearing heels were over,” Blakely stated on the Sneex website.

The new brand will introduce a range of “luxury hybrid stiletto” shoes, with prices starting at $395 (approximately ₹33,000). The most exclusive pairs will reach up to $595 (about ₹50,000). The patented design of Sneex is aimed at addressing common issues associated with high heels. It features re-engineered weight distribution, a comfortable toe box, and enhanced arch support to improve overall comfort.

Sneex is poised to offer a fresh take on footwear, promising both style and ease for women who have long sought a more comfortable option for high heels.

This was a long time needed for females to have high-heel footwear without being uncomfortable. Sneex might be one of the first steps in it but netizens don't look happy with the decisions.
