The brazen act has sparked outrage and raised concerns about the growing drug menace in the state.

The incident, which came to light after Ex-Minister DJayakumar @djayakumaroffcl shared an image on social media X, led to action from the Chennai Police. Following the viral image, authorities identified and apprehended two individuals involved in the illicit activity.

A food delivery boy, Bhuvanesh, was caught in the act, while his supplier, Narendiran, was also taken into custody.

A subsequent search of Narendiran's premises led to the seizure of a substantial quantity of marijuana, weighing approximately 1.5 kg. The arrest of the duo underscores the alarming rise in drug trafficking and consumption in Tamil Nadu.
