Snow leopards are rare species that live in mountain areas mostly covered with snow. The leopards are native to the South Asian region, including the Himalayan ranges. These wild cats are known for their survival skills and live in harsh weather conditions.

India alone has about 720 odd snow leopards found in high-altitude mountain regions.

Apart from snow leopard mountain goats also seem to defy gravity due to their remarkable adaptations for living in steep, rocky terrain. Their specialised hooves have a hard outer shell and a soft, rubbery inner core, providing excellent traction on rocks and allowing them to navigate steep cliffs with ease.

Additionally, their muscular bodies and strong legs enable them to leap and climb with agility, making them appear almost gravity-defying as they traverse rugged mountain slopes.
