‘Give Her an Aadhaar Card Already’: Foreign Student's Fluent Punjabi Stuns Shopkeeper in Viral Video

We often say that language has no barriers, and a recent viral video has proved this, in which a foreign student stunned a shop owner with her fluent Punjabi skills. The student went to a shop to get a cup of "chah" and used Punjabi for communication, which amazed the shop owner. The video was shared on Instagram, where it quickly went viral.

The viral video starts with the student approaching the order counter of a café and asking the attendant whether she knows Punjabi. When the attendant replied yes, the student then asked if she could order a cup of tea, to which the attendant again replied yes. Her accent and tone were fluent, prompting the store worker to ask where she learned Punjabi.

The student then explained that she is taking Punjabi lessons and also studying it at her university. The storekeeper praised her Punjabi, saying "Nice Punjabi." Later, the student went to her car, took a sip of the tea she had ordered, and remarked that it's 27 degrees outside and there is no reason to drink chah, but she wanted to drink it anyway.

The viral video was posted with a caption that reads, “She was sweeter than the chah 🥹🩷 & It’s never too hot for chah.”

The video was shared almost a month ago and has recently garnered more than 800,000 views. Moreover, it has received over 65,000 likes and numerous comments.
