Hydrabad Man Finds Cockroach As Topping On Dominos Pizza, Staff Claims It 'Mushroom'

Hydrabad: In the past few weeks, there have been several reports of rats, cockroaches, and even fingers found in people’s food, raising concerns about food hygiene. Many people have shared their shocking experiences on social media.

Similarly, a man posted on X that he found a cockroach in a pizza he ordered from Domino’s in Hyderabad. The incident occurred at Hyderabad's Next Galleria Mall on Tuesday evening.

"Congratulations @dominos @dominos_india, you have fed us Cockroach in a Pizza for FREE and made my family members puke."he wrote in the post. 

Swapnil also claimed that when he reached out to the Dominos staff about his pizza having cockroach, they called it 'Pizza mushroom topping'.

"Add on is a terrible badtameezi from your team who calls this cockroach a 'Pizza mushroom topping' and creates a scene without regretting it," Swapnil added in the post. 

Domino’s has not yet responded to Swapnil's claim about finding a cockroach in his pizza. Last week, an Ahmedabad civic body took strict action against a five-star hotel after a cockroach was discovered in the sambar served to guests. The incident occurred at Hotel Hyatt in Vastrapur. A complaint was lodged with the health department of the Municipal Corporation, prompting an inspection of the hotel’s kitchen. It was reported that the cockroach was found during a function at the hotel, leading to public outrage and a formal complaint. The Municipal Corporation sealed the hotel’s kitchen and posted a notice stating that the kitchen was found to be in an unhygienic condition after the investigation.
