Viral News: Bizarre news is coming in from Punjab's Mohali, where villagers have found a weird solution to safeguard women from teasing and molestation. Jandpur village near Mohali has made a check list of dos and don'ts for women living around and women who visit the village.

The village, which has reportedly had an increased number of cases and fights where women were targeted, has therefore come to the conclusion that women should avoid wearing revealing clothes and should not be smoking, which according to them will fix the problem.

To viewers surprise, villagers have come up with a full check list printed on a large board for public display. This bizarre idea comes to villagers minds after paying guests started making ruckus at night, issues that often lead to fights and brawls.

The idea of no smoking and revealing clothes by villagers is now trending on social media, with people having mixed opinions in this regard. Some call it the act of stupidity, while others blame students and job seekers, boys and girls who come from different cities.

However, the entire matter is still under scrutiny and puts a big question mark on local authorities and police who deal with law and order-related matters.

This is not the first incident of its kind where society has made its own norms to prevent a weird situation from occurring. In many Tier One cities, landlords and flat owners do avoid bachelor tenets, be it boys or girls, to avoid any legal hassle.

However, ideas like this will definitely not make things any better by imposing stupid rules like no smoking and short clothes to avoid brawls.
