US President-elect Donald Trump 's health secretary pick, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who had previously criticized Trump’s fast food eating habits, was photographed enjoying a McDonald’s meal with him.
The photo surfaced online just days after they pledged to "make America healthy again."
In the image, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Donald Trump Jr., and RFK Jr. are seen with a McDonald’s platter in front of them, including burgers, fries, condiments, and soft drinks.
Donald Trump Jr. jokingly captioned the picture on Sunday: "Make America Healthy Again starts TOMORROW."
The photo sparked criticism online, with several netizens slamming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for eating McDonald’s.
Reacting to the image, one user commented, "RFK’s like ‘they caught me.’"
Another wrote, "Irony is dead."
A third added, "Make McDonald’s Healthy Again too!"
Kennedy had previously described Trump’s food choices as “trash,” criticizing the quality of meals served during the campaign. He stated, “What Trump eats is really bad. Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is, like, just poison. You have a choice between — you don’t have the choice, you’re either given KFC or Big Macs. That’s when you’re lucky, and then the rest of the stuff I consider kind of inedible.”
