Zomato CEO Announces 'Delete History' Update, Internet Reacts
Zomato CEO introduced a new feature that allows users to delete their order history.
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal recently announced on X that customers will now be able to delete their food order history from the zomato app. “Use it responsibly,” Goyal said on the post as he responded to “Karan and many others”on July 12.
Karan Singh, a Zomato customer, had complained in a post in December 2023 about stopping his late night orders because his wife came to know about the same by checking order history and not being able to delete order history that he had described as the “worst thing”.

Deepinder Goyal shared a screenshot showing the new feature, which has been introduced "on popular demand." He wrote, "For Karan and many others, you can now delete orders from your order history on Zomato. Use it responsibly. Sorry, this took us a bit of time to prioritize and build. This touched multiple systems and microservices. We are rolling it out to all customers as we speak."
