Satellite images from Yangon provided by Maxar Technologies show Global Fashion Garment Factory, a Chinese-owned supplier to the fashion retailer C&A, billowing with smoke and damaged by fire.
The Chinese Embassy has urged that police be deployed to protect Chinese companies and their staff.
