Mamaearth IPO: Honasa Consumer Limited's, the maker of popular personal care products amker Mamaearth, share sale via initial public offering (IPO) will open on Tuesday, October 31. The company is planning to raise Rs 1,701 crore from the IPO which is combination of an offer for sale and fresh issue of shares.

Mamaearth IPO price band and lot size

The company is planning to sell shares in price band of Rs 308-324 per share and a retail investor can bid for minimum one lot of 46 shares up to maximum of 13 lots. One lot of Mamaearth shares in the IPO is priced at Rs 14,604 at the upper end of the price band.

Mamaearth is planning to raise Rs 1,701 crore which is an offer for sale worth Rs 1,336 crore and fresh issue of Rs 365 crore.

The company has reserved 75 per cent shares in the IPO for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) which include large investors like banks, mutual funds, and foreign institutional investors. 15 per cent shares are set aside for non-institutional investors and 10 per cent for retail investors.

The company will use proceeds from fresh issue for advertisement expenses towards enhancing the awareness and visibility of the company's brands, for capital expenditure to be incurred by the company for setting up new EBOs, investment in the company's subsidiary, Bhabani Blunt Hairdressing Private Limited (BBlunt) for setting up new salons and for general corporate purposes and unidentified inorganic acquisition.

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, JM Financial Limited and JP Morgan India Private Limited are the lead managers for the IPO.

Incorporated in 2016, Honasa Consumer Limited (HCL) provides beauty and personal care products through its digital platform.
