Tsikhanouskaya calls for continued Belarus strikes

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the main challenger to President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, urged factory workers to continue striking in a video statement Friday.

"You scared the dictatorship, it is trembling with fear in front of you," she said  “We will force the authorities who holed up in their palaces to hear our voice.”

She was speaking from Lithuania where she went after the disputed elections earlier this month, under pressure from Belarus authorities.
