British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was grilled on Wednesday by the opposition over the funding of the refurbishment of his Downing Street apartment, after the U.K.'s political spending watchdog said there were "reasonable grounds" to suspect an offence had been committed.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was grilled on Wednesday by the opposition over the funding of the refurbishment of his Downing Street apartment, after the U.K.'s political spending watchdog said there were "reasonable grounds" to suspect an offence had been committed.
Johnson also denied press reports which quoted him as allegedly saying he would rather see “bodies pile high in their thousands” than impose a third national coronavirus lockdown on the country.
