Thousands of protestors gathered in central London to march from Parliament Square to the News Corp UK offices at London Bridge on a "Free The Press" protest organised by climate change campaign group Extinction Rebellion on Sunday.
The march was made up of drummers and dancers, with people in costumes making peaceful demonstrations against the press.
One protestor, Alan Measures felt the press was too light on reporting climate change and accused the British media of covering the topic "very superficially."
Another protestor, who gave her name as "Frilly," felt that more regulations were needed on how much media could be owned by one person or company, but went on to suggest that politicians and the press were "all in bed together."
Activists said they were holding a "day of protest" to target the "four billionaire owners of 68% of the UK's print media".
Effigies depicting the media moguls were carried along the march.
Police said six people were arrested after manure was dumped outside the offices of the Daily Mail newspaper earlier on Sunday morning.
Extinction Rebellion said it dumped seven tonnes of horse manure outside the main entrance to the head office of the newspaper's owners, Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT).
