Hundreds support Black Lives Matter in suburban DC

A large crowd gathered in Bethesda, Maryland near the nation's capital for a Black Lives Matter protest.

Hundreds of residents sat down and spread out in a parking lot to participate in the rally. They also stood on an adjacent roadway as a news chopper from a local television station captured the scene from above.

Protests continue nationwide in response to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and other police killings of black people.
