Hamas attack aftermath: Abandoned houses, deserted roads and traces of Hamas brutality

The roads leading to Kibbutz Be'eri are being manned by Israel Police and Israel Defence Forces, the access is restricted as the area has been declared as closed militarised zone - making it out of reach for all, including journalists. We started out journey from Sderote and in 45 minutes time, we were at the gate - which was giving a rough idea that all is not well here; couple of bullets on gate and some on reception shattered glass; it was sufficient to explain that Hamas terrorists have entered and fired 'some' shots here and there. I assumed that they might have opened aerial firing while passing by from this Kibbutz.
Gunshots marks were seen in various buildings of Kibbutz Be'eri.
The bus, which took us to Kibbutz Be'eri, was a bulletproof one with IDF soldiers onboard; we stopped on the left side of the entrance and first I witnessed was a barrage of Rocket Propelled Grenades lobbed at some four houses that I could see. "Every Sign of Life" was attack- Hamas terrorists left nothing as they entered by breaching the fence on the border as well as to the Kibbutz.
The war continues
The modus operandi was simple and well planned and meticulous as it can be - at 6.30 am on the morning of 7th October, sirens rang as Hamas hurled barrage of rockets into Isreal territory and that is something common for people of Israel and they followed the standard procedure of taking shelter inside their houses; almost every house has a shelter that can bear such attacks. It was almost the normal, barring that siren went on for more time than expected. With sirens going on, some loud bangs started to be heard; and then the hue and cry was all over Kibbutz Be'eri. It was all in flash of seconds that taking advantage of rocket attacks, Hamas terrorists breached the fence and entered the territory of Israel on their bikes and jeeps; some landed via Paraglider as well.
The bikes outside the fence of Kibbutz Be'eri and some blown inside speaks of volumes that operation of Hamas against humanity was successful to a large extent; over 120 people were killed by Hamas terrorists- soldiers were beheaded, women raped, children killed and what not. Minors were killed, injured and many of them were taken away to Gaza Strip by terrorists of Hamas.
The attack has left the roads deserted; the roads have seen dance of death fortnight back when terrorists of Hamas on their bikes with RPG launchers, machine guns in their hands killed everyone who they saw on the roads and houses nearby. The mission of terrorists was to create fear of Hamas among people of Isreal and they did so by killing as many people as they can.
