WATCH | Woman shares terrifying video of getting attacked by magpie who almost pecked her eye out

During her "hot girl walk," a gorgeous Australian influencer posted horrifying video of herself being attacked by a magpie-lark. The 24-year-old Sarah Jade posted a video of the incident on TikTok, describing how the encounter with the enraged bird that nearly pecked her eye out left her “traumatized.”

Sarah can be seen trembling in terror in the video as the magpie-lark strikes her in the eye and gets part of its beak stuck in her eye socket. "It would be among the most traumatic experiences of my life. Firstly, I'm afraid of birds. Two, it genuinely went in my eye," she informed the audience. "To be honest, I was unaware that it had gone in my eye. Before I saw the video again, I believed it had just struck me in the side of the face. I've experienced trauma. I feel ill."  

Although Sarah acknowledged she didn't want to share the video with her fans, she felt compelled to do so as a warning. "It genuinely passed by my eye." She exclaimed, "It's so disgusting," as she focused on the bird pecking at her eyeball. Magpies breed in their peak from August to November, when swooping normally starts.     

Along with crows and ravens, magpies belong to the corvid order of bird species. Magpies, like other members of the Corvid family, are renowned for their intelligence. The magpie's capacity to mimic human speech is one of its unique characteristics. Some even think magpies are capable of carrying on a conversation because of this undeniable ability. There's no denying the fact that magpies are capable of sophisticated vocalizations, even though there aren't any research to back this up.
