At Rs 2.72 crore, Maserati GranTurismo launched in India, rivals Aston Martin Vantage
Maserati has launched the GranTurismo in India at Rs 2.72 crore (ex-showroom) and showcased the Grecale SUV in India. The GranTurismo is powered by a V6 engine.
GranTurismo launched in India: The Italian automaker, Maserati launched the GranTurismo in India at Rs 2.72 crore (ex-showroom). Maserati has already launched the Modena, Trofeo, and Folgore (the electric model) in the international markets and will be launching the Folgore, the electric model next year in India. The GranTurismo features a sporty exterior, newly updated interiors, and a comprehensive feature list. This is the second generation of the GranTurismo and it is an all-wheel drive sedan in the segment. The GranTurismo competes against the Aston Martin Vantage in its segment.

Competition and price:
Maserati, the Italian auto manufacturer, has priced the GranTurismo Modena at Rs 2.72 crore (ex-showroom) in India. The Trofeo is the performance version, which is priced at Rs 2.9 crore (ex-showroom) The Italian sportscar competes against the Porsche 911, Aston Martin Vantage, and the Ferrari Roma in India.
Exterior design:
The design of the Maserati GranTurismo maintains its iconic design of a low-slung long bonnet. The front of the GranTurismo features the trident logo of Maserati along with air-intakes and vertically designed LED headlamps. The air-intakes enhance the performance and the sporty aesthetics.
From the side, the GranTurismo runs on a staggered wheel size for better performance. The sportscar comes with dual-tone 20-inch front and 21-inch rear low-profile tyres and offers all four disc brakes, The GranTurismo is featured with regular old-schooled door handles for better aerodynamics and the Maserati branding on the fenders maintains the legacy styling.
At the rear of the Maserati GranTurismo, the vehicle brags redesigned taillights, and quad exhausts are integrated into the bumper. The quad exhaust sounds sporty on revving and the diffuser adds a sporty aesthetic with added downforce while going at high speeds.

Interiors and features:
The interiors of the GranTurismo have a modernistic approach. The sportscar comes with a 12.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system which has now replaced the old-schooled button infotainment system. It features a wireless charger, and an 8.8-inch screen for the HVAC display and the driver infotainment system is also digital, with a 12.3-inch display.
There are numerous options for the customisation of the interiors. The GranTurismo offers driving modes, that alter the steering, engine performance, and exhaust note. There is a drive mode selector switch on the steering wheel to alter the modes. The GranTurismo also features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which enhances the safety tech.
Engine specifications:
The Italian auto manufacturer, Maserati has given the 3.0-litre Nettuno twin-turbo V6 petrol engine in the GranTurismo. The Modena variant of the GranTurismo produces 490 BHP and 600 Nm torque, and the performance variant Trofeo of the GranTurismo produces 550 BHP and 650 Nm torque. Both the engine tunes are paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and the GranTurismo is an all-wheel drive sedan.
