Kia Cars Price Hike: If you are planning to buy a Kia car, then it is the right time as the auto manufacturer has announced a price revision of its entire lineup from April 2025. This announcement comes amidst the price revision made by Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors. Kia India will revise the prices of its models by 3 per cent and the company cited the reason for the price hike is due to rising commodity prices and the escalation of the supply chain-related costs.
“Due to the rising costs of commodities and input materials, we will be increasing up to 3 per cent price hike across all Kia models, effective from 1st April 2025,” Mr Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. Vice President,– Sales and Marketing, Kia India said.“
In January 2025, Kia India had announced a price revision of its models by 3 per cent.
In February 2025, Kia India recorded total sales of 25,026 units. The automaker saw a surge in sales by 23.89 per cent on a YoY basis. The best-seller model from Kia in February 2025 was the Sonet, which recorded total sales of 7,598 units. However, the sales of Sonet saw a decline of 16.52 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
Recently, Kia India launched the Syros in India, which the company positions between the Sonet and the Seltos. It is one of the most affordable car, which comes with a panoramic sunroof in the market.
Recently, Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki announced a price revision of its models from April 2025. First, Maruti Suzuki announced a price hike by up to 4 per cent from the next month. Tata Motors have also announced a price revision of its models, but did not reveal the percent.
