Tata Motors Price Surge: India’s leading passenger vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors has now announced a price revision of all the petrol, diesel, and electric cars in India. According to a statement, Tata Motors intends to increase prices across its passenger vehicle range, including electric vehicles, effective April 2025. This price hike report from Tata Motors comes soon after Maruti Suzuki announced the price hike of its models in India.
Tata Motors, in a statement, said,” The revision in prices is being undertaken to partially offset the impact of rising input costs. The extent of the hike will vary depending on the model and variant.”
Tata Motors in January announced a price revision of its vehicles by up to 3 per cent.
Tata Motors recently launched a new Stealth Edition of the Safari and Harrier in India. The Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition is limited in units and boasts an all-black exterior, and interiors, and remains unchanged mechanically.
Tata Motors has a wide array of portfolio of cars in the market. The starting model is the Tiago, which is a budget hatchback. It scored a four-star safety rating in the Global NCAP. Buyers of the Tiago can opt for a petrol, CNG or EV option. The price of Tata Tiago starts at ₹4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the XE variant.
On the other hand, Tata Curvv EV is the flagship offering in Tata Motor’s lineup currently. Tata Curvv has scored a five-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP. It is a feature-loaded coupe SUV, having multiple convenience and safety features for the buyers. Regarding battery options, the Curvv EV is available with two battery packs to the buyers. There is a 45kWh battery pack and a 55kWh battery pack.
