MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition Teased For Indian Market, Launch Soon

New Edition in Comet EV: JSW MG Motor India has officially teased a new edition for its most affordable EV car, Comet EV. The automaker has a series of special editions which the company has launched in almost every vehicle. However, it is likely to get a black paint scheme on the outside and some element changes in the interiors and would be mechanically unchanged.

MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition Exteriors:

The exteriors of the MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition are likely to have an all-black paint scheme with red inserts on different parts. According to a video teaser, the red inserts will be on the Morris Garages lettering, lower parts of the bumper, and the alloy wheels that are expected to be finished with red and black tones. The rest of the dimensions and the other design elements of the MG Comet EV will remain unchanged.

MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition Interiors:

The interiors of the MG Comet EV are likely to have red inserts as they are on the exteriors. The interiors feature seating for four passengers with wide door openings for easy in-rest and eg-rest. The dashboard is neatly laid with dual 10.25-inch connected screens for infotainment and instrument cluster.

MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition Features:

Since the Blackstorm Edition brings in cosmetic changes to the Comet EV, the feature list is likely to remain untouched. The MG Comet EV has a comprehensive set of convenience features such as automatic climate control, driving modes, electronic parking brakes, reverse parking camera, and other features.

MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition Battery and Range:

The MG Comet EV Blackstorm Edition will likely be the same mechanically. The regular MG Comet EV is equipped with a 17.3kWh battery pack, having a claimed range of 230km on a single charge.

MG Comet EV Price:

The price of the regular MG Comet EV starts at ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. However, with the B-a-a-S, the price of the Comet EV is ₹4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and ₹2.5/km as the battery rent.
