The DIPA has highlighted challenges faced by telecom infrastructure providers in obtaining permissions for deploying infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, specifically in Noida and Ghaziabad.

R Dua, the Director General of DIPA, stated that despite submitting applications through the online portal Nivesh Mitra, the single window system of the Uttar Pradesh government, and providing all necessary documents along with the application fee, no permissions for telecom infrastructure deployment have been granted.
