Cognizant, a multinational in IT services, has joined hands with Nasscom to diversify and inclusion in India's technology sector.

The partnership introduced 'Shakti,' a unified framework dedicated to empowering women in technology.

Within Shakti, initiatives like 'RISE' aid mid-level women associates in leadership development, 'Propel' focusses on coaching senior women for career acceleration, 'Returnship' supports those returning after a break, and 'Be Gritty' hones fresh campus hires' growth mindset.

With over 50,000 members, the 'Women Empowered Affinity Group' plans to boost women's work experiences and drive business impact.

Cognizant also unveiled a year-long campaign spotlighting women's contributions through real-life stories, to create an inclusive workplace.

Additionally, Cognizant launched 'Synapse,' a training initiative set to empower over a million individuals with tech skills, including generative AI.

From digital literacy to advanced AI, Synapse aims to achieve a significant milestone in tech training.
