Jio Rolls Out Free JioHotstar Subscription: How To Avail? Which Plans Is It Available On?

Ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Reliance Jio, led by Mukesh Ambani , has introduced a special offer providing free JioHotstar subscriptions to its users. As part of this limited-time promotion, Jio SIM, JioFiber, and Jio AirFiber customers can enjoy up to 90 days of complimentary access to JioHotstar.

This offer is available to both new and existing Jio SIM users who subscribe to or recharge with a plan worth Rs 299 or more. Additionally, Jio is extending a 50-day free trial of JioFiber or JioAirFiber for home users. According to the company’s announcement, current Jio SIM customers who recharge with a Rs 299 plan (1.5GB/day or higher) or above by March 31, 2025, will be eligible for the offer. New users activating a Jio SIM with a Rs 299 or higher plan within the same period can also avail themselves of this benefit.

Reliance Jio's latest promotion comes in the wake of a major media merger in November 2024, which saw Viacom18 Media Private Limited, JioCinema, and Star India Private Limited unite under a new media conglomerate.

"For cricket enthusiasts, Jio has launched an exclusive offer for both existing and new Jio SIM users. With a Jio SIM and a recharge of ₹299 or above, customers can experience an unparalleled cricketing season," the company stated in its release.
