SRH vs RCB, IPL 2026: Virat Kohli seemed angry as he engaged in an altercation with Travis Head at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The altercation continued after the match as well as Kohli snubbed shaking of hands with Head. From the visuals that are doing the rounds, it is clear that Kohli tried to rile up the Aussie. Kohli actually asked him to roll his arms over as well in a sarcastic fashion. And after Kohli perished early for a 11-ball 15, Head walked up to him and taunted him.
Will BCCI Punish Kohli?
It is now going to be interesting to see if the Indian board punishes Kohli or lets him off. There is no doubt that Kohli tried to get into his head by getting chirpy and making gestures that seemed provocative. Article 2.5 of IPL's Code of Conduct is for Aggressive Behavior which prohibits using language or gestures that are threatening or provocative toward other players. At best, Kohli could be fined 25% of his match fees which should not bother him.

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan spoke about the heated exchange between the two players and reckoned it ‘wasn’t right'.
Pathan was on-air when things got heated up between Kohli and Head. Later, he said: “See what happened during the game can happen, in the heat of the moment. That's okay but what happened after that wasn't right.”
