IGNOU Launches MA in Bhagavad Gita Studies, Check Course Fees, Module, Structure, Link To Apply Here

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has recently launched a post-graduate programme in Bhagavad Gita Studies. The programme will be offered through open and distance learning mode (ODL) from July this year. Candidates who have a bachelor's degree can apply for MA in Bhagavad Gita Studies online. The Specialised MA course in Bhagavad Gita Studies will offer flexible study durations of two to four years. There are a total of 500 seats for the course. The medium of instructions will be Hindi. It will be structured for 80 credits. 

Course Fees

Students enrolled in the course will have to pay a fee of Rs 12,600 for the entire two-year course or Rs 6300 annually.

"With the approval of competent authority, the programme MA Bhagavad Gita Studies (MABGS) will be offered through ODL mode from the July 2024 session," reads the official notice.

“The Bhagavad Gita is the essence of the Indian knowledge tradition. It encompasses the wisdom of the entire Indian philosophical heritage.
