Symbiosis International University, Pune, has released the first merit list for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT 2024) today, June 15. The merit list is available for both BBA LLB (Hons) and BA LLB courses, and candidates can access it on the official website – symlaw.ac.in. To check the merit list, candidates need to log in using their SLAT login ID and password on the university's portal.
SLAT 2024 was conducted from May 5 to May 11 in a computer-based test (CBT) mode across various exam centers nationwide. The one-hour exam comprised a total of 60 questions, divided equally among five sections: logical reasoning, legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, and general knowledge.
The Symbiosis Law Admission Test is conducted for admission to BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.), BA LLB, and BBA LLB courses. According to the official website, the merit list is prepared with 70% weightage given to SLAT scores and 30% marks allotted based on personal interviews, totaling to 100 marks.
The university has also mentioned that category-wise cutoffs for the merit list and waitlist will be published on the respective institute's websites. A waitlist may also be released depending on the availability of vacant seats.
"All admissions are provisional and will be confirmed upon payment of fees on or before the due date, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions and in accordance with the rules of Symbiosis International (Deemed University)," stated the university notification.
