Bihar Board 12th Result 2025: BSEB to Announce Results on March 27 at 10 AM

Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to announce the Class 12 (Inter) results for 2025 on March 27, Thursday, at 10 AM. Students can check their results on the official websites biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and results.biharboardonline.com once they are released.

Around 13 lakh students who appeared for the Bihar Board 12th exams, held from February 1 to 15, 2025, are eagerly waiting for their scorecards.

Bihar Board to Maintain Its Record of Early Results

BSEB has been the first to declare board exam results among state and central boards for the past few years. This year too, the board is set to release results ahead of others, continuing its tradition.

Strict Toppers' Verification Process Before Result Announcement

Before announcing the toppers list, BSEB follows a strict verification process to ensure authenticity. The toppers are called to the BSEB office in Patna, where their handwriting is matched with their answer sheets.

Additionally, the toppers from all streams—Science, Commerce, and Arts—undergo an IQ test and an oral exam. Subject experts ask them questions related to their subjects to evaluate their depth of knowledge. In some cases, a small written test is also conducted to ensure that the students possess the knowledge reflected in their answer sheets.

Compartment Exam for Students Who Fail in One or More Subjects

The compartment exam schedule will be released after the Class 12 results. Students who fail in one or more subjects can reappear for the compartment exam to pass the Bihar Board 12th exam. If they fail to pass the compartment exam, they will have to repeat the year.

Bihar Board 12th Result 2024: Pass Percentage and Toppers

In 2024, the overall pass percentage for Bihar Board Intermediate exams was 87.21%. The stream-wise results were as follows:

Science: 87.80% pass rate

Arts: 86.15% pass rate

Commerce: 94.88% pass rate

Vocational: 85.38% pass rate

The toppers in 2024 were:

Science Stream: Mrutyunjay Kumar – 96.20% (481 marks)

Commerce Stream: Tushar Kumar – 96.40% (482 marks)

Arts Stream: Priya Kumari – 95.60% (478 marks)
