Patna Hospital Director Shot Dead In Her Office, Police Initiate Investigation

Patna: The director of Asia Hospital was shot dead in her office in Bihar 's capital city Patna on Saturday evening. The deceased was identified as Surbhi Raj (35), the director of Asia Hospital in Patna. The incident has sent shockwaves across the city. On information, the Patna police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation into the case. 

According to Patna City SDPO Atul Jha, the police received information about the incident around 3.30 pm on Saturday. When the police team arrived at the hospital, they were informed that Surbhi Raj was found unconscious and covered in blood in her office. She was immediately shifted to the ICU, where doctors diagnosed her with multiple gunshot injuries. Despite efforts to save her, Surbhi Raj succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

The police are investigating the case from all possible angles, and forensic teams are collecting evidence. However, authorities have not yet confirmed whether this was a targeted attack or linked to any personal or professional conflict. "The police team is collecting evidence from all angles. An investigation is underway," said SDPO Atul Jha.
