New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a series of virtual workshops focused on career development, targeting students, parents, teachers, principals, and counselors. The initiative aims to foster professional growth for school heads, teachers, and counselors, while aiding students and parents in making informed career decisions. Each workshop will be held weekly, with a specific focus on one group.
These workshops are meticulously designed to offer a comprehensive approach to career guidance and decision-making processes. The CBSE has released a detailed schedule on its official website, including dates, topics, speakers, and registration links.
“This workshop, designed for CBSE school students, emphasizes the significance of reflective thinking as a foundational skill for building self-reliance in recognizing their unique talents and aptitudes. By fostering an environment that encourages self-exploration, students are guided to understand their inherent strengths and how these can be aligned with future educational and career opportunities. The ultimate aim is to equip students with simple techniques to continually assess their capabilities and adapt to evolving trends in the workforce and education sectors, ensuring a lifelong alignment of their strengths with their career paths. Additionally, the workshop introduces innovative, game-like career research techniques, making the discovery process enjoyable and informative. This engages students and arms them with verified information, facilitating structured, logical, and sound decision-making. Through this approach, students are prepared to confidently navigate their future, supported by a solid foundation of self-knowledge and research skills,” the official notification reads.
