The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city slip for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 June session. Candidates who have applied for the exam can now download their city slips from the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

How to Download CSIR UGC NET City Slip 2024

To download the CSIR NET 2024 city slip, candidates need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the "CSIR NET 2024 City Slip" link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your registration number and date of birth.
  4. Submit the details.
  5. The city slip will appear on the screen.
  6. Download and print the city slip for future reference.

The city slip provides information such as the candidate's name, the exam they are scheduled for, and the city of the examination center. It is important to note that the city slip is different from the admit card. The admit card, which will be released later, includes detailed information like the exact exam center address, date, time, and exam instructions.

CSIR NET 2024 Exam Dates and Shifts

The CSIR NET 2024 exam is scheduled to take place on June 25, 26, and 27. The exam will be conducted in two shifts:

  • Morning shift: 9 AM to 12 PM
  • Afternoon shift: 3 PM to 6 PM

Candidates must carry their CSIR NET 2024 admit card along with a valid photo ID (such as Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, or driving license) for verification purposes.

Exam Pattern and Subjects

The CSIR NET 2024 will be conducted online and will last for 3 hours. The exam will consist of 200 objective-type questions covering the following subjects:

  • Mathematical Sciences
  • Physical Sciences
  • Life Sciences
  • Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences
  • Chemical Sciences

There will be negative marking for incorrect answers.
