NEET-UG 2024 Re-Exam Results To Be Out Tomorrow, How To Download NTA Final Scorecard

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the results of the NEET-UG re-examination tomorrow, June 30. Candidates who appeared for the re-test on June 23, 2024, can check their scores on the official website once released. NTA has already released the NEET re-exam provisional answer key on June 28 and candidates can raise objections till 11 pm on June 29. The revised final answer key will be released along with the results tomorrow. 

The re-examination was conducted for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks for allegedly experiencing time loss during the originally scheduled examination on May 5. However, only 813 candidates appeared for the re-test. The low attendance was attributed to the fact that many candidates opted to stick with their original scores, excluding the grace marks.

The NEET-UG re-examination was announced following allegations of irregularities, including paper leaks. The issue came to light when 67 students scored a perfect 720, an unprecedented feat in the NTA's history. Further investigation revealed that six students from a center in Haryana's Faridabad figured in the list, raising suspicions of irregularities.

Haryana's Jhajjar centre, which came under scrutiny due to several top rankers emerging from there, saw 287 out of 494 candidates appear for the NEET UG 2024 re-exam, representing approximately 58%.

Original NEET Scorecards To Be Cancelled

The original scorecards issued on June 4, 2024, will be cancelled and withdrawn. Affected candidates will be informed of their actual scores without compensation through their registered email IDs.

Candidates who did not appear for the re-examination will have their results declared based on their actual marks obtained on May 5, 2024. Marks obtained by candidates who appeared for the re-test will be considered, and their previous marks will be discarded.

The NTA had earlier informed that 63 candidates were debarred from all over the country due to malpractices, including 17 from Bihar and 30 from centers in Godhra.
