The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently probing the NEET-UG and UGC-NET paper leaks. Several arrests have been made while some accused are on the run. NEET-UG was held on May 5 and the results were declared on June 4. Soon after the results were declared, several allegations of malpractice and paper leaks were made, questioning the integrity of the exam conducted by NTA, as a total of 67 candidates emerged as NEET toppers due to the grace marks allotted to some candidates. Amid the investigations, NTA conducted the UGC-NET exam on June 18, however, it was cancelled on June 19, following allegations of paper leaks.
