Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: The State Selection Board, Odisha Police has released the recruitment notification for the post of constable. There are a total of 1360 vacancies for Sepoys/Constable posts in OSAP/IR/SIR/SS Battalions in Odisha Police. The detailed notification and online application link will be released on September 23, 2024. Aspirants will be able to apply online through the official website- odishapolice.gov.in.  

Odisha Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed class 12th from an affiliated board can apply for the post. 
AGE LIMIT: Candidates must be aged between 18 and 23 years. The relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates will be provided.

Salary Details: Rs 21,700- Rs 69,100 

Odisha Police Constable Selection Process and Exam Pattern

Candidates will have to clear a written exam followed by physical standards and physical efficiency test (qualifying), driving tests, and medical examination The written OMR-Based exam will be of 100 marks. The test duration will be 2 hours. The driving test for heavy motor vehicles will carry 5 marks and light vehicles driving test will carry 3 marks. 

Exam Pattern:  The OMR-based exam will have sections including Odia language, English language, arithmetic, general knowledge, situational awareness, logical reasoning and basic computer knowledge. There will be 100 questions carrying 1 mark each.
