The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination 2024. The examination is scheduled to take place at various centers across India on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Candidates can download their e-Admit Cards from the official UPSC website upsconline.nic.in. Moreover, UPSC has released important instructions for candidates. Read on to know full details. 

How to Download the UPSC Engineering Services Main Exam Admit Card:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to upsconline.nic.in.
  2. Click on the e-Admit Card Link: Find and click on the link for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination 2024 admit card.
  3. Enter Login Details: Input your registration number and password to access your admit card.
  4. Download and Print: Download the e-Admit Card and take a printout.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

  1. Carry Essentials: Candidates must bring the printout of their e-Admit Card and a valid Photo ID Card, whose number is mentioned on the e-Admit Card, to the examination venue for each session.
  2. Photograph Clarity: If the photograph on the e-Admit Card is not clear, blurred, or missing, candidates must carry two identical photographs (one for each session) along with their Photo ID Card and e-Admit Card printout.
  3. Discrepancies: Any discrepancies in the e-Admit Card should be reported immediately to the Commission via email at usenggupsc@nic.in.
  4. Early Printout: Candidates are advised to print their e-Admit Card well in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
  5. Entry Timings: Entry into the examination venue will close 30 minutes before the start of the examination. For the Forenoon Session, entry closes at 08:30 A.M., and for the Afternoon Session, it closes at 02:00 P.M. Latecomers will not be allowed entry.
  6. Venue Restrictions: Candidates must appear only at the venue mentioned on their e-Admit Card. No changes will be permitted.
  7. Black Ball Point Pen: Bring a black ballpoint pen to fill in the Attendance List.
  8. Question Paper Representation: Candidates can submit representations regarding the questions through the “Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep)” from June 24 to June 30, 2024 (till 6:00 PM).
  9. Watch Policy: Simple wristwatches are allowed, but smartwatches or watches with communication capabilities are prohibited.
  10. Prohibited Items: Do not bring valuables, mobile phones, smart/digital watches, IT gadgets, books, bags, or any other banned items to the exam venue. UPSC will not be responsible for any lost items.
  11. Disciplinary Actions: Possession or use of mobile phones, electronic devices, or any incriminating materials inside the examination premises will result in disciplinary actions, including cancellation of candidature, FIR/Police complaints, or prohibition from future examinations.
