Amit Shah To Address Two Massive Roadshows In Ahmedabad Today

  • BJP President Amit Shah will address two massive roadshows and will meet party workers and local leaders in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency on April 6
  • The day is also the founding day of the BJP and the party completes 39 years on this day.

BJP President Amit Shah will be holding two massive roadshows in Ahmedabad, his home turf in Gujarat and a BJP bastion, on Saturday.

He will lead two massive roadshows in Ahmedabad and later meet the local leaders.

Shah, is contesting from the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency for the Lok Sabha elections, a seat that had belonged to BJP veteran leader LK Advani.

While filing his nomination from the constituency last week, Shah recalled Advani's legacy and said:

"I am blessed to have been asked to contest from a seat where Atal ji, Advani ji have represented... The Gandhinagar seat is one of the most important in the country. I will strive to take forward Advani ji's legacy."

hah will address roadshows from 9.30 in the morning to 8.30 in the evening, after which he will meet the BJP leaders in the constituency. His schedule for the day was posted on the party's official Twitter handle.

Incidentally, April 6 also happens to be the founding day of the BJP. BJP tweeted a poster, declaring that the party had been working towards nation-building since the last 39 years. It gave best wishes for each and every worker of BJP on this occasion.
